The customer service coordinator, (Spanish & English speaking) is responsible for providing effective customer service for all internal and external customers by using excellent, in-depth knowledge of company products and programs as well as communicating effectively with team members within the customer service department, or may specialize in assistance with parts related issues. This is a salaried position.

  • Communicate in Spanish and English fluently to company’s customers both domestically and abroad throughout Latin America
  • Coordinate heavy-capacity scales and weighing equipment orders for customer service department
  • Assist dealers with complex issues related to product technical components
  • Customer support for Cardinal Scale dealers and end-users by phone and e-mail
  • Coordinate communication between Cardinal Scale’s engineering, MRP, shipping, and technical support departments to customers concerning new and potential orders
  • Detailed order entry into Cardinal Scale’s ERP system
  • Inside sales function to explain product selections available to customers, suggesting related and new items
  • Communicate expected delivery dates and coordinate delivery changes
  • Update job knowledge by studying new product descriptions; participating in educational opportunities
  • Provide technical explanations and features to customers about product connectivity and usage
  • Handle complaints, provide appropriate solutions and alternatives within the time limits, and follow up to ensure resolution
  • Keep records of customer interactions, process customer accounts, and file documents

Candidate Must Possess:

  • Fluency in Spanish and English (written and verbal): This will be tested prior to employment
  • Technical Proficiency: Candidate must display background work experience or coursework dealing with technical requirements
  • Detail Oriented: Highly-detailed data entry skills requiring meticulous levels of detail
  • Communication Proficiency: Candidate must possess extraordinary verbal and written communication abilities
  • Teamwork: Ability to communicate across various internal departments and package information succinctly for the customer
  • Knowledge Base: Position entails products with sophisticated electrical and mechanical components

Required Education and Experience

  • Associate’s degree in Business, Technology, Spanish Language, Communication or Electronics or equivalent experience in related field.
  • Three years of experience in customer or technical support via, phone, email, and fax.
  • *Preferred Education and Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree is preferred, with three years of working experience
  • Relevant certifications
