The CSR is instrumental in providing an outstanding Customer Experience to our customers via phone. This is accomplished through performing operational duties that drive sales through product knowledge, computer functions and other related duties. CSR’s represent the Jeffers brand to our customers. CSR’s must be courteous, efficient and able to engage in selling techniques with customers so that their needs and expectations are met or exceeded. This position is essential to the environment that Jeffers represents.


Deliver excellent Customer Service and drive sales by providing unmatched service to meet the customer demands delivering friendly and prompt service.
Talks to customers over the phone to place orders and to resolve their questions or concerns.
Calmly attempts to resolve and de-escalate any issues. Escalates calls to supervisor when necessary and appropriate. Strive for First Call Resolution with every call.
Use product knowledge, product information and available resources to educate customers and assist them in making product selections that are right for them.
Maintain professional and courteous relationships with customers, co-workers and management fostering a positive work environment and embrace diversity.
Collaborate with the team to understand, support and achieve established goals and objectives.
Operate our computer systems and execute customer transactions efficiently. Fully understand order functions to ensure total price, tax, and shipping and handling charges are entered accurately.
Aid the management team in ensuring the catalog program is consistently promoted and customer information, including email is captured and accurate.
Follow Loss Prevention standards as implemented by Jeffers.
Adhere to assigned work schedule, responsible to promptly clock in/out and approve weekly schedule. Adhere to personal appearance policy.
Follow management direction in completing other duties as required.

Required Knowledge:

Understanding of professional sales procedures and customer service
Knowledge of computer functions and processing payments.
Passion for animals
Product knowledge/education is preferred, but not required.

Bi-lingual - Spanish & English

Applicants must be at least 18 years old

Experience Required:

One-year call center experience preferred.

Skills and Ability:

Excellent communication skills.
Interpersonal skills in dealing with all customers in a friendly, courteous, and polite manner.
Able to use computer and related business equipment.
Flexibility to work nights and weekends.
