Bilingual LPN/Medical Assistant

The Cardiology Medical Assistant (MA) is responsible for patient intake and assisting the provider and support staff with direct and indirect patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

* Perform general patient care by following established standards and procedures.

* Obtain patient history, vital signs, ECG and other duties as assigned.

*Document patient plan(s) of care, tests and examination results in the medical record (Athena Health) as directed by the provider.

*Escalate non-routine issues, questions and/or concerns to the clinical manager or healthcare provider(s).

*Schedule with outside clinics for testing and other services as required

*Obtain Medical records from outside clinics as required

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
