Responsibilities:

  • Obtain complete medical history and physical data on patients. Review patient records.
  • Interpret and integrate data to determine appropriate diagnostic and therapeutic procedures needed.
  • Perform a complete and/or focused physical exam and record findings. Establish presumptive diagnosis if needed.
  • Order appropriate laboratory and diagnostic procedures. Synthesize data to determine preliminary diagnosis and therapeutic plan utilizing principles of prevention.
  • Administer injections, immunizations and/or oral medications. Suture wounds.
  • Interview and advise patients regarding health and illness prevention. Recommend community resources to meet patient and family needs.
  • Instruct patient and family regarding medication and treatment instructions. Provide patient education.
  • Assist physicians by recording patient progress notes, issuing diagnostic orders and transcribing orders.
  • Triage patient telephone calls and provide consultation.
  • Perform independent evaluations and treatment procedures in emergency situations.
  • Provide monitoring and continuity of care between physician visits.
  • Perform related work as required.

Minimum Education and Experience:

Requirements:

  • Licensure in the State of Ohio as a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner required.
  • Must be in good standing with no restrictions to practice in the State of Ohio.
  • Fluency in Spanish and English or Native Spanish speaker

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Contract

Pay: $80,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
