Description

Large Licensed Home Care Agency in Lynbrook, Long Island is seeking a Full Time Clinical Trainer for their HHA program. Must be Fluent in Spanish!

Great opportunity for RN with 2+ years of home care experience.

Salary $95k - $105k + excellent health benefits, PTO and 401k (6% match immediately)

Must be Fluent in Spanish

Hours: 9am - 5:00pm Monday - Friday (no weekends)

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with branch staff in developing orientation programs for branch associates.
  • Supervise HHA Trainees for Supervised Practical Training as needed.
  • Prepare and organize instructional materials and training supplies.
  • Conduct classroom training for all paraprofessionals by state-approved Training Program, policies, and procedures.
  • Perform initial and annual skills testing of paraprofessionals
  • Coordinate and conduct in-service programs for employees as requested, including mandatory programs.
  • Provide complete orientation of skilled and paraprofessional caregivers as needed.
  • Develop and implement professional nursing education programs.
  • Develop training programs that target special needs clients.
  • Direct high-quality training for the development of field employees that will provide the level of service necessary for patient retention and profitability.
  • Ensure that the Training Program’s high standards are maintained through accurate and current teaching materials/documentation for employees to provide a level of care that drives patient satisfaction.
  • Facilitate the development of a comprehensive in-service program.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Science Nursing degree preferred
  • Registered Nurse (RN)
  • 2 years’ experience of Homecare experience, including direct supervision of Home Health Aides and Personal Care Aides, required in NYS
  • 1-2 years' experience as a Registered Nurse required, preferably in an acute care setting.
  • Bilingual English & Spanish speaker preferred

Pay: $95,000.00 - $105,000.00 per year
