Schedule:

  • 10 hour shift
  • Tues - Fri, 7am-5pm

Locations:

  • Stamford, CT (2 days per week)
  • Norwalk, CT (2 days per week)

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • The Licensed Practical Nurse conducts complete initial patient evaluation
  • Formulate a multimodality treatment strategy for the patients’ venous insufficiency, under the direction of a Physician
  • Assist Physician, or NP in exam rooms; provide instructions to patients as directed
  • Licensed Practical Nurse will educate patients on treatment options, recommendations of Physicians and assist patient in scheduling treatments
  • The nurse will be involved with all continuity of care initiatives, including one month, six month and then annual follow ups
  • Maintain accurate and detailed reports and records
  • Assume duties of a Surgical Tech when needed, including prep and assisting in procedures. Maintaining proper sterile field. Sterilization of surgical instruments.


Minimum Requirements:

  • Must be bilingual in Spanish
  • Must be available to work at Stamford and Norwalk centers
  • Must have passed LPN licensing exam and currently in good standing with the appropriate state Department of Health Professions
  • Minimum of 2 years of previous nursing experience required
  • Must have reliable transportation
