Job Summary
The Regional Nurse Manager will develop and maintain an environment that supports quality patient care for the Neighborhood Centers within their region. Provides oversight for and routinely reviews clinical support practices to identify educational and process needs. Works with Lead MAs to manage day to day activities of all clinics in assigned region. Oversees clinical scheduling, staff utilization, care gap closure, and key performance metrics. Serves as liaison between nursing and operations to validate clinical needs are met; through routine performance reviews/audits, and staffing. Works with and helps manage multidisciplinary team to develop and provide patient-specific treatment plans. Serves as an expert in all patient care support services and programs offered by Suvida Healthcare. Travel between various clinics within region to support clinical staff. Essential responsibilities consist of but are not all inclusive:
- Manages day to day activities of all clinics in assigned region
- Oversees clinical scheduling, staff utilization, care gap closure, and key performance metrics of assigned regional neighborhood centers
- Develop and maintain an environment that supports quality patient care
- Provides oversight for and routinely reviews clinical support practices to identify educational and process needs
- Serves as liaison between nursing and operations to validate clinical needs are met; through routine performance reviews/audits, and staffing
- Responsible for participation in hiring, coaching/counseling, and participating in performance reviews of nursing staff
- Provide patient-centered education and treatment on chronic disease states, including various care modalities used for disease prevention and treatment
- Collaborate with providers, interdisciplinary care teams, patients and/or caregivers to identify and develop patient-specific disease state therapy goals
- Provide patient care services through provider-delegated collaborative practice agreements
- Participates in patient discussions as a member of the multidisciplinary team
- Responsible for understanding Suvida’s clinical programs, identifying practice opportunities and integrating programs, and resources into the practice workflows with the intent to optimize the patient experience, improve quality of care, and positively impact resource utilization
- Develops a tool and performs routine chart reviews to validate appropriate documentation/practice; with feedback and education for improvement as needed
- Responsible for overall operation and outcomes of designated clinical tasks through demonstration of improved patient outcomes and minimized incidents and complaints
- Participates as needed in reviewing patient complaints and supporting opportunities to resolve the complaint in a timely manner
- Establishes orientation schedule for new RNs/MAs and performs weekly and off-orientation reviews along with preceptor and Practice Manager
- Ensures proper incident reporting in collaboration with Suvida Healthcare Compliance Department
- Supports development of and performs routine monthly trainings per calendar via in-service and/or observation
- Modifies training to ensure practice improvement
- Participates in provider meetings for increased communication
- Evaluates inventory per audit to support clinical oversight for accurate storage and par level management to support patient care
- Performs routine and focused audits on practices specific to patient care, sterilization, personal care, in addition to those identified in response and follow up to incidents
- Follows organizational policies, procedures, protocols, OSHA standards, and audits to provide documentation
- Participates in writing policies, procedures, and protocols for clinical areas as necessary
- Provides routine feedback and assists with direct ongoing evaluation of clinical services
- Must have the ability to demonstrate self-confidence and a positive attitude toward self and other achievements

- Must be able to manage multiple deadlines and prioritize
- Fosters an environment of learning and reports incidents to promote performance
- Travel within region to multiple clinics required
- Manages Suvida Healthcare’s exposure control plans/blood borne and airborne pathogens as evidenced by: Demonstrates knowledge of techniques, procedures, and correct use of protective barrier equipment. Performs appropriate support for onboarding and continued management of infection control processes for clinic-based workers, including placement/reading of TB tests
- Demonstrates respect and regard for the dignity of all patients, families, visitors, and fellow employees to ensure a professional, responsible, and courteous environment as evidenced by:Interacts with all of the above in a considerate, helpful, and courteous manner as observed by nurse manager and peers, Maintains open communication using appropriate chain of command regarding issues, Conducts all work activities with respect for rights and wishes of patients, visitors, families, and fellow employees, Maintains confidentiality of all SuVida Healthcare and patient information at all times
- Directs other licensed and non-licensed personnel in the provision of care to patients as assigned evidenced by: Demonstrates willingness to assume clinical nurse role as required, Based on patient care needs and skills of caregivers, delegates responsibilities accordingly. Acts as a resource person for other staff
- Other duties as assigned by the Director of Value-Based Care Performance
Education Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree or Associate’s Degree in Nursing or healthcare related field
- Unrestricted Arizona RN license or valid compact state licensure
- BLS (CPR & AED) Certified
- State of Arizona Registered Nursing License Experience Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a licensed, registered nurse, preferable in supervision
- Minimum of 5 years of leadership, customer service, and spoken/written communication skills
- Advanced Proficiency in Microsoft office platforms including word, excel, and power point
- Bilingual/Bicultural (English and Spanish) Preferred
