PEDIATRIC NURSE PRACTITIONER (NP) or PHYSICIANS ASSISTANT (PA)(BILINGUAL ENGLISH / SPANISH)

JOB TYPE: Full Time (40 hours per week); Direct Hire Employee

SCHEDULE: Monday - Friday 10:00am - 7:00pm ,with 1 closing shift per week and 1 weekend per month

JOB DESCRIPTION:

The nurse practitioner or physician assistant provides general medical care, monitors growth and development, and tracks and administers immunizations for infants, children, adolescents, and young adults. The advanced practice provider performs routine screenings, diagnoses and treats illnesses, medical conditions, and injuries, as well as provides teaching and counseling for children and their families on issues related to health.

SCHEDULE:

  • Regular hours will be Monday - Friday 10:00am - 7:00pm.
  • Providers work one (1) closing shift per week (12:00pm - 9:00pm). With our current staffing levels, the evening rotation is averaging one shift each 6 weeks.
  • Providers are also required to work one weekend shift per month (1 Saturday and 1 Sunday), with an equivalent amount of flex me off during the week.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:

  • NP or PA Degree from an accredited university (required)
  • Prior experience (preferred)
  • Bilingual Spanish/English (required)
  • Computer/EMR knowledge (required))
  • Previous experience with NextGen (preferred)

CERTIFICATIONS:

  • Certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner – Pediatrics or Primary Care
  • Certified Physician Assistant - Pediatrics or Primary Care
  • NALS
  • DEA
  • National Provider Identification Number (NPI)

Pay: $120,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year
