Pay rate: $130/hr onsite patient care hours, $100/hr telemedicine lab review hours

VitalCheck Wellness is seeking a Bilingual (Spanish) Nurse Practitioner to provide general wellness checkups and DOT physical exams on site at a private business in Metro NYC and NJ. Our office arranges the patient appointments and does the administrative work, giving you the time and luxury to provide clinical one-on-one patient care. Usually no more than 20 patients per day.

Responsibilities:

• Provide general wellness checkups.
• Consult with patients to understand their health concerns.
• Perform blood draws for patients.
• Advise/refer patients for follow-up care.
• Provide telemedicine services for lab review follow-ups.
• Provide DOT physical exams.

Requirements:

• Valid and clean NP license to work in NY and NJ.
  
• Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP)/ (FNP-C)/ (FNP-BC)/ Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (ACNP) certified.
• Background in internal medicine, family practice, urgent care, or emergency room.
• Must be able to perform phlebotomy.
• Must be DOT/FMCSA Certified.
• Experience with diabetes management would be a great plus.
• Must be proficient with computers, customer service-oriented, and able to work independently.
• Must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 (including booster shot).
  
• Must be able to commute in Metro NYC area and New Jersey.
