Summary:
The Retail Pharmacy Cashier is responsible for maintaining the high quality of the Cook Children’s patient experience for our retail pharmacy patients and families. The Pharmacy Cashier will support Pharmacists and Technicians by greeting and checking out customers, restocking supplies and maintaining an organized front end over the counter section. The Pharmacy Cashier may complete Technician functions once trained in specific tasks.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Bilingual required - Must be able to pass the Spanish language proficiency assessment (speak, read and write)
- Pharmacy Cashiers will be required to obtain a Technician Trainee license from the state of Texas within 90 days of employment. The information to apply is located at

- TX Pharmacy Tech Registry is also required within 2 years of employment
