Bilingual Preschool Floater/Cook English & Spanish

Position available is for a preschool floater/cook with a work schedule of 35-40 hours a week.

MUST SPEAK SPANISH and ENGLISH... Minimum 6 Child Development Units (12 preferred)

You will be responsible forprep and serve meals and snacksin accordance with nutritional guidelines, for up to 36 children per day. Wash dishes, clean personal work area and other common areas. Provide breaks for other staff, between 10 mins-1 hour per teacher.

All curriculum and activities will be in Spanish as we are a Spanish immersion childcare. Implement a play based curriculum. Enforce all administration policies and rules governing students. Implement and follow all California Title 22 State Licensing rules and regulations at all times.

In the event of staff absences you may be required to step in and help in the classroom. Assist Lead teacher when needed, implementing lesson plans, projects, and communicate those objectives to children. Demonstrate activities to children. Aid with indoor and outdoor space to facilitate creative play, motor-skill activities, and safety.

Follow Lead Teachers direction in the following:

Maintain accurate and complete student records as required by laws, district policies, and administrative regulations. Prepare reports on students and activities as required by administration. Plan and conduct activities for a balanced program of instruction, demonstration, and work time that provides students with opportunities to observe, question, and investigate. Organize and label materials, and display students' work in a manner appropriate for their ages and perceptual skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $19.00 per hour
