Butterfield Catering, located on the Upper East Side of Manhattan, is one of New York's premier Caterers. We are currently looking for a professional, well mannered, knowledgeable prep cooks and line cooks to join our team.
Butterfield Catering is a growing company with many opportunities available.
Line Cook/Prep Cook-Qualifications Needed:
- At least (2) years of experience in a high volume catering or restaurant kitchen.
- Knowledge of food and proper food handling procedures, knife skills and all cooking techniques.
- Ability to execute and prepare all menu items for our locations and catering orders.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Punctual and willing to work a flexible schedule that may include, overnight shifts, weekends, and holidays.
- Attention to detail and great organizational skills.
- Assist chef and kitchen team with preparation and storage of all food products.
- Ability to stand for long periods of time, ascend-descend stairs.
- Positive and productive communication skills.
- Display a clean and well organized work area.
- Understand and follow all company procedures, including health and sanitation and safe and respectful work practices.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States.
- Must be able to speak Spanish

Pay: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 40 per week

- Day shift
- Evening shift
- Morning shift
Weekly day range:
- Every weekend
- Monday to Friday
- Rotating weekends
- Weekends as needed
