Butterfield Catering, located on the Upper East Side of Manhattan, is one of New York's premier Caterers. We are currently looking for a professional, well mannered, knowledgeable prep cooks and line cooks to join our team.

Butterfield Catering is a growing company with many opportunities available.

Line Cook/Prep Cook-Qualifications Needed:

• At least (2) years of experience in a high volume catering or restaurant kitchen.
• Knowledge of food and proper food handling procedures, knife skills and all cooking techniques.
• Ability to execute and prepare all menu items for our locations and catering orders.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Punctual and willing to work a flexible schedule that may include, overnight shifts, weekends, and holidays.
• Attention to detail and great organizational skills.
• Assist chef and kitchen team with preparation and storage of all food products.
• Ability to stand for long periods of time, ascend-descend stairs.
• Positive and productive communication skills.
• Display a clean and well organized work area.
• Understand and follow all company procedures, including health and sanitation and safe and respectful work practices.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States.
• Must be able to speak Spanish

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week

Shift:

• 8 hour shift
• Day shift
• Evening shift
• Morning shift

Weekly day range:

• Every weekend
• Monday to Friday
• Rotating weekends
• Weekends as needed
