SIGN ON BONUS OF $750

A New Leaf's licensed and accredited 24-hour youth shelter for children (ages 12-17) that offer specialized case management for the purpose of family reunification. Meals, education and warm place to sleep are provided along with activities to keep the children’s spirits up and deliver round-the-clock care.

Our dedicated staff provide a safe and stable environment in which to foster the optimal growth and development of each child. Supporting objectives include improved physical health, improved education/vocation skill development and timely family reunification and/or release planning.
We are searching for a full time Spanish/English Bilingual Administrative Assistant to be a part of the already amazing and dedicated team.

Pay: $19.00 hourly
Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:00am-5:00pm
Location: Mesa, AZ

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Provide pleasant and professional customer services on the phone and in-person to a diverse population.
  • Process incoming calls; screen, research, and respond to requests. Refer calls to appropriate personnel and retrieve voice mail.
  • Perform clerical and administrative duties for program staff; including, filing, typing, composing, drafting and preparing correspondence/memorandums, and compiling a variety of reports.
  • Develop and maintain records and files in an organized, accurate manner.
  • Schedule meetings and trainings.
  • Notify staff of meetings and/or trainings available, agency compliance requirements, and other pertinent information.
  • Order and maintain office and program supply inventory.
  • Assist in ordering and refilling medications and complete required medical documentation as required by program.
  • Complete quarterly inventory and reports.
Qualifications:
  • High School or GED required
  • Associates or Bachelor’s degree, preferred.
  • Bilingual; possess effective verbal and written language skills in English and Spanish.
  • Experience in behavioral health preferred.
  • One (1) year of clerical and/or administrative experience
  • Must be detailed, organized and able to handle multiple projects at the same time.

Requirements:
  • Must Be At Least 21 Years of Age
  • Must pass pre-employment drug test
  • Possess a valid driver’s license with reliable transportation,
  • Current Auto Liability Insurance and a clean 39-month motor vehicle record
  • Either possess a Class One Fingerprint Clearance Card or be able to pass various background checks in order to obtain one.
  • Bilingual - Required; possess effective verbal skills in English and Spanish. Must pass verbal testing
  • Must be able to provide proof of Immunizations (Varicella, MMR, TDAP, Covid & Flu)
