Overview
The City of Tigard's Police Department is currently recruiting for a B*ilingual (Spanish/English)* Police Records Specialist to join their team. This position performs a variety of customer service functions applicable to police records release and maintenance. This role also maintains and updates police records according to established policies and procedures.

Testing: A Spanish-language skill test will be administered to finalists to determine eligibility for this position.
Retirement: This position does not fall under PERS retirement but does participate in the city's 401 (A) and 457 retirement plan.
Schedule: There are two working shifts: Morning shift from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. or swing shift 1 p.m. to 11 p.m. Four days a week; 10 hours per day. This position will likely work one weekend day each week, either Saturday or Sunday. Schedules are bid based on seniority. Our Police Records Unit is open seven days each week from 8:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m.

Compensation:
The hourly range for this overtime eligible position is $23.09-$29.46 per hour. The starting pay assignment, based on an analysis of the successful candidate’s related experience and education in accordance with the City’s pay equity policy and the Oregon Equal Pay Act, would be no higher than $26.72 per hour.
