Salary - $35.00 - $38.50 per hour

Sign-on Bonus: $2,500

Middlesex County NJ

• Fee for Service Substance Abuse Counselor.
• Substance Use Disorder Clinician position available in Middlesex County. Supervision offered for individuals working toward their CADC/LCADC

Responsibilities

• Conducts clinical assessments including substance use and risk
• Conducts individual, group and/or family counseling for substance abuse and co-occurring population at the outpatient level
• Location will be across two Middlesex County sites, starting in East Brunswick, NJ
• Experience completing urine drug screens
• Case Management; including making recommendations for appropriate levels of care.
• Treatment and discharge planning is required

Requirements

• CADC required, LCADC preferred
• Minimum one year of substance abuse and mental health counseling experience
• Experience completing urine drug screens
• Case Management; including making recommendations for appropriate levels of care.
• Treatment and discharge planning is required
• Ability to collaborate with outside funding sources and affiliated agencies (i.e., IDRC and Probation
• Must be familiar with NJ SAMS.
• Need to be vaccinated as of December 5, 2021, as per CMS guidelines and regulations
