Part-time Spanish Teacher 2023-24 school year

Come Join our Team of Spanish Teachers! Teach Spanish part-time in a non-public school for the 2023-24 school year. Grades K-6 / 2 days - Mon & Wed / 11.5 hours

Training, support, lesson plans, and materials are provided by Viva Spanish. We also offer opportunities for Professional Development and collaboration with our teacher team.

Responsibilities:

• The teacher will be responsible for effectively leading Spanish classes for students in Grades K-6.
• The teacher will be responsible for delivering pre-made lesson plans and use a curriculum that has been created by our team.
• The teacher will need to maintain accurate grades, communicate with parents and other faculty members, and establish a respectful learning environment.
• The teacher must be able to manage a class of 20-25 students.

Requirements:

• High School diploma required; college degree preferred.
• Candidate must be proficient in Spanish AND English.
• Teaching experience or experience with children preferred.
• Applicants will be required to submit a background check.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $19.00 per hour

Schedule:

• Day shift
