Spanish Immersion Assistant Teacher

The assistant teacher is responsible for assisting the lead teacher in educating children ages 3-5 about Spanish immersion. The Spanish Immersion program is designed to provide preschoolers with an experience of immersion in the Spanish language and culture. The assistant teacher will participate in story time, arts, and crafts, and many more activities.

Qualifications:

• Fluently speaks Spanish.
• Experience working in a childcare center preferred.
• General knowledge of children’s growth and development.
• Good written and oral communication skills in English
• Flexibility, reliability, and cooperative work habits.
• No substantiated history of child abuse of neglect.
• No staff member or volunteer will have a felony conviction on record within the past five years.
• No staff members name will appear on the sex offenders’ registry.
