As a member of our medical team, you will be responsible for listening, understanding, and translating documents from English to Spanish and vice versa. Advanced spoken and written Spanish and English is mandatory for this role.
Your responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:
- Responsible for listening to, understanding, reading, and translating spoken languages (English and Spanish).
- Job Locations: Texas
- The company covers travel and accommodation.
Requirements:
- Education: High School diploma or GED.
- Certified Healthcare Interpreter or Certified Medical Interpreter credential preferred.
- Three professional references
- Certification: Must hold a current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Experience: Must be actively practicing as an interpreter providing translation/interpretation with a minimum experience of two (2)+ years in respective language. Must be able to read and write the requested language. Must be able to process information quickly, concisely and recognize sensitive cultural differences using appropriate terminology and understands common industry procedures/practices.
