Spanish Interpreter/Translator

We are currently seeking a Spanish Interpreter to join our team. The ideal candidate will be able to fluently communicate between Spanish and English speakers.

Requirements:

- Background check and drug screening.

- Able to work flexible hours and on call.

Duties:

- Respond to calls and texts to the Spanish Crisis Line.
- Provide interpretation services for clients receiving domestic violence and sexual assault services in various settings, such as counseling appointments, legal proceedings, and sexual assault medical exams. Conduct Spanish language community outreach.
- Translate written documents from Spanish to English and vice versa.
- Ensure accuracy and confidentiality in all interpretation services provided.
- Maintain professional conduct and adhere to ethical standards of the interpreting profession.

Experience:
- Fluency in both Spanish and English languages
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Experience providing interpretation services in a professional setting preferred
