Job Description:

As a Spanish and Portuguese Book Translator, you will be responsible for translating books from English to Spanish and Portuguese. You will need to have a deep understanding of both languages and be able to accurately convey the author's intended meaning and tone in the translated text. You will be working closely with our editorial team to ensure that the final translated text meets our high standards for quality and accuracy.

Responsibilities:

• Translate books from English to Spanish and Portuguese.
• Ensure that the translated text accurately conveys the author's intended meaning and tone.
• Work closely with our editorial team to ensure that the final translated text meets our high standards for quality and accuracy.
• Meet project deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Edit and proofread translated text as needed.
• Communicate regularly with the editorial team to provide updates on project status.

Requirements:

• Native fluency in Spanish and Portuguese.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Proven experience translating books from English to Spanish and Portuguese.
• Knowledge of literary terminology in both languages.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet project deadlines.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Bachelor's degree in Translation, Linguistics, or a related field preferred.

Pay: $30,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
