Adjunct Spanish Instructor

GENERAL DESCRIPTION:
Carl Albert State College seeks a dedicated and committed colleague to teach Spanish Language courses on the
Poteau Campus. Position will begin August 2023.

QUALIFICATIONS:
A Master’s degree from an accredited institution with appropriate hours of emphasis in the field of Spanish or
related field; 18 graduate hours preferred or can have a Master’s in Teaching if Spanish is his/her native
language. Candidate must possess excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills; computer
skills to support teaching and learning. Prefer teaching experience with commitment to working with diverse
populations.
Preference will be given to candidates with demonstrated experience in community college teaching and
assessment, as well as to candidates with an awareness of current trends in their fields.

EXPECTATIONS OF FACULTY:
The successful candidate will demonstrate a clear aptitude for teaching. Successful candidate is required to
teach courses and adhere to the CASC faculty expectations and guidelines of CASC.

SALARY:
$ 550.00 per credit hour
