Description

St. Bonaventure High School is a private, Catholic co-educational secondary school located in Ventura, California. This college preparatory institution was founded on the spiritual ideals of St. Francis of Assisi and the academic fervor of its namesake, St. Bonaventure. St. Bonaventure is looking for a highly qualified Spanish Language Teacher for the 2023-2024 school year.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience as a Spanish Language Instructor in the fields of teaching language, grammar and culture.

Requirements

Required qualifications:

  • B.A./B.S. from an accredited college or university
  • M.A./credential preferred
  • Adequate experience to teach all levels of Spanish; knowledge of or experience teaching Spanish language, grammar and usage, culture.
  • Knowledge of current trends in education.
  • Ability to collaborate with department colleagues and other faculty members
  • Excellent classroom management, communication, and organizational skills
  • Ability to incorporate technology in the classroom as a strategy to engage learners.

Wage Range
The rate of pay offered to the selected candidate is based on internal pay policy and budget. New hires are commonly paid at the minimum of the wage range or within the lower part of the range. We consider a number of factors when making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skill sets, experience, training and other department needs.
