POSITION SUMMARY
The Multi-Dimensional Family Therapy Clinician provides model adherent intensive in-home clinical treatment to adolescents with substance abuse and delinquent behaviors and their families. The MDFT Clinician will go through the MDFT certification process, obtain licensure clinical and supervision hours and obtain experience in the adolescent, parent and family clinical realm.

$3,000 Sign-On Bonus! Half paid upon hire and half paid at one year of service

  • Per the current needs of the program, this position is Bilingual required - Bilingual in Spanish and English. Additional Bilingual Stipend Available!
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS
  • Marriage and Family Therapy, Counseling, Social Work and Doctorate in Psychology.
  • Must hold one of the following credentials to start a position: LMSW, LCSW, LMFTA, LMFT, LPCA, LPC or licensed or license eligible psychologist. Please note that you can apply prior to receiving the above credentials.
LOCATION
Waterbury, New Haven and New Britain, CT. Position is currently being offered as a hybrid schedule with remote and in-home sessions

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Completes clinical documentation.

Provides triages for clinical emergencies and aligns with identified safety plan.

Works collaboratively with internal and external providers.

Meets with families based on model expectations.

Provides service in the office, remote and/or community settings outside of the office (e.g., homes, schools, hospitals, institutions, other community locations) as defined by the program. May transport clients to appointments or linkages as appropriate.

Work in a team to provide wrap around services to the family both clinical and case management.

Participate in on-call rotation with teammates to support clients/families in times of crisis.
