PATHS, LLC seeks highly motivated individuals with excellent customer service skills to assist patients in applying for Medicaid and/or Charity Care on behalf of our client facility in Long Branch, NJ.

Duties:

  • Financial Counselor will assist patients in applying for Medical Assistance and possible other hospital state or federal programs, when applicable.
  • Counsel patients in navigating through medical bills, insurance benefits, and financial resources available.
  • Determining the best sources of payment for services provided to patients
  • Working with patients and/or family members, employers, banks and federal/state offices for additional information as needed
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualified applicants must:

  • Wiling to train in our Cherry Hill, NJ.
  • be bilingual (English/Spanish speaking)
  • be trustworthy
  • be professional and have people skills
  • be detail and goal oriented
  • be a self-starter
  • be organized and able to multitask
  • be ambitious in a fast-paced environment, and can perform in high volume setting
  • be able to learn and work Medicaid and Charity Care eligibility regulations
  • be comfortable working in a hospital setting
  • applicant must be willing to train in one of our local office locations

Physical Exam, PPD screening, and immunization/COVID records are also required. Minimum high school diploma or GED is also required.

Available Shifts:

  • Monday - Friday, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
