Bilingual **English/Spanish** DSP -- $31/hour

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated bilingual English-Spanish Direct Support Professional (DSP) who is committed to making a positive impact on the lives of individuals with varying levels of neurodivergent and/or intellectual disabilities. As a Direct Support Professional, you will be responsible for providing mentoring assistance and support in daily living activities as well as ensuring the safety and well-being of clients and creating a positive and nurturing environment. DSPs assist individuals in becoming involved and connected within their community, providing tailored support based on their preferences.

This client is low-functioning and medically fragile. The client needs a DSP to help with most of the Daily Living Tasks. She also needs help improving her developmental milestones and providing supervision + recreational activities.

This role is in Fishkill.

Shifts available: Monday-Friday 4-7pm + weekend hours. Flexible schedule

• Mentor and assist clients in their daily living activities
• Provide a safe and nurturing environment for all clients and staff
• Build positive relationships with clients and staff
• Strong interpersonal skills with a passion for assisting those in need
• Possesses a friendly disposition with a positive "can do" attitude
• Ability to work independently and consistently exercise good judgment

Qualifications:

• Caregiving experience required
• Experience working with individuals with neurodivergent and/or intellectual disabilities preferred
• Associate's degree or higher
• Availability to work flexible hours

Required: Successful background check and fingerprinting
