Bilingual Field Interviewer

We are an LA based transit research data collection firm seeking Bilingual Field Interviewers in the North Region Valley area (Chatsworth and Sun Valley) for a 1 month project November 7th-December 15th for LA Metro. This is an entry level customer service position. You will be hired to conduct surveys with riders on a tablet and plotting start and end locations on Google Maps for market research to improve transit in the Los Angeles area.

Schedule is Monday-Thursday. AM Shifts are 5:00am-1:00pm, PM Shifts are 1:00pm-10:00pm approx. Shift times may vary slightly depending on bus schedule. You will be riding ON BOARD various Metro bus lines conducting a 3-4 minute survey with riders on a tablet. Must be fairly good with technology.

Report Locations:

Various LA Metro Divisions.

A car will be necessary to get to rail stations early in the morning since we start before the bus and trains start running. Parking at stations is available.

Training Times: AM Staff 8am-12pm, PM Staff 1pm-5pm

Shift Times: AM Shift; 5:00am-1:00pm, PM Shift; 1:00pm-10:00pm approx.

Hours: 28-32 hours per week

Pay rate: $22.00 per hour paid weekly

Requirements:

· Must be prompt as timeliness is important

· Must be able to communicate with strangers (Bus Passengers)

· Must possess knowledge of smartphones and/or tablet programs

· Must possess knowledge of Google maps

· Must be able to stand on your feet on board a moving bus for up to 7 - 8 hours

· Must be comfortable asking personal travel and demographic questions

MUST BE BILINGUAL, SPANISH-ENGLISH
