$21.33-$22.43

Working Location:

LA Metro (Travel Required + Hybrid)

Working Hours/Shift:

Full-Time; Flexible schedule

What you bring to SBHG :

  • Spanish Required
  • High School diploma or equivalent (e.g. GED, HiSET, etc.), preferred.
  • Lived experience as a PARENT of a child who received services from DCFS, DMH, Probation and worked through it to be able to share their experience and assist other families.
  • Valid California Driver’s License.
  • Parent Partner Training Academy Certification (to be completed within 1 year of hire date).


How you will make a difference
:

The Parent Partner is responsible for working with parents to represent their best interests. He/she regularly attends the Child Family Team (CFT) meetings and actively participates in the development of the Plan of Care/Safety Crises Plan, Strengths Summary, and the completion of the Caregiver Assessment. Must demonstrate the ability to conduct a strengths interview with family members; tell own story as appropriate to engage families, build on family strengths; communicate clearly and through documentation. The Parent Partner assists other team members in coordinating services, case management, or developing plans for the family. Collaborates with team members to ensure adherence to program process and principles, as well as, TEAMMATES philosophy of “Whatever It Takes.” Parent Partners participate in Network and SPA meetings, as appropriate. Parent Partners are expected to develop specialties over time, such as housing, domestic violence, substance abuse, or community linkages.


Division/Program Overview:

  • Community-Based and Family Centered programs.
  • TEAMMATES offers Wraparound, Intensive Field Capable Clinical Services (IFCCS) and IFCCS Outreach Triage Team and Child Outreach Triage Team services that cover a full range of treatment and support.
  • 24 hours of referral receipt, and services are delivered countywide by the same team
  • 24-hour Crisis Intervention
  • SED Children and Adolescent driven program.
  • Client and Family driven program with mutually agreed by service provider and family.
  • Contract with DMH and Child Protected Services and Probation.
