Job Summary

We seek a reliable Safety Admin to provide general administrative support and enforce policies that protect team members and keep the work environment safe and compliant. This role will assist in documentation, facilitate training, and other administrative duties. This role will ensure all safety-related training records, accident reports and other documents are completed and filed appropriately. This role reports to the VP of Field Strategy & EHS.

Essential Functions

  • Provides administrative support for the corporate safety department, including Director.
  • Engage team members to build and maintain an integrated safety culture.
  • Enforce OSHA and warehouse rules and regulations.
  • Organize training including updating training materials, and updating records.
  • Assisting in preparing pre-qualification bidding documents.
  • Helps with safety training and orientation classes, as necessary.
  • Assist managing safety equipment, PPE, and supply stock and needs.
  • Assist with site emergency drills and monitor employee response and readiness.
  • Perform general administrative duties as needed.
  • Keeps information accessible by sorting and filing documents.
  • Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities.
  • Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Education and Experience

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 2-4 years of administrative duties.
  • Strong Organizational skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills coupled with an energetic attitude is of utmost importance.
  • Excellent computer skills, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook).
  • Effective verbal and written communications skills.
  • Strong ability to follow instructions and work with a sense of urgency.
  • Willingness to establish and maintain effective working relationships.
  • Safety experience preferred.
