Caregiver Fluent in Spanish

The caregiver provides hands-on assistance with ADLs (activities of daily living) and IADLs (instrumental activities of daily living) to clients in their homes.

Qualifications:

• 1-year experience working in a home care setting
• Must have a valid NC Driver’s License.
• Personal means of transportation
• Good interpersonal skills
• Dependable
• NA I or personal care assistant(if applicable)

Job Duties:

• Maintain the home in an optimum state of cleanliness and safety.
• Provide light housekeeping tasks, including such duties as preparation of meals, laundry, shopping.
• Provide hands-on assistance with bathing, dressing, toileting, mobility, and eating.
• Provide client with assistance with self-administration of medications.
• May assist with monitoring of blood pressure, blood sugar, weight, temperature, pulse, and respirations (if within scope of practice and delegated by a RN)
• Perform other skilled nursing services within their scope of practice as delegated by an RN
• Report to the RN Supervisor any change in condition, incidents or problems related to the client, immediately.
• Report any unusual incidents or changes in the client’s behavior to the RN Supervisor
• Document accurately and maintain service records

Perform other duties as assigned by the RN Supervisor (instrumental activities of daily living) to clients in their home.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $11.00 - $13.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 4 hour shift
• 8 hour shift
• Day shift
• Monday to Friday

Experience:

• Caregiving: 1 year (Preferred)

Shift availability:

• Day Shift (Preferred)
• Night Shift (Preferred)
• Overnight Shift (Preferred)
