Country Change Specialist (Bilingual)

In this role, you will help organizing and executing the change, communication and training activities in the country/cluster under the US and Puerto Rico HR Transformation Program (HRTP) Change Lead. You will work closely connected to the HRTP Change Lead to ensure alignment of local activities with the HRTP change strategy and approach, but also to the Business Area Deployment Lead to ensure coordination with other local program activities and Business Area change & comms initiatives. As a core member of the Human Resources (HR), you will deliver HR service assistance to the HR community, business managers and employees. You will process complex and escalated HR requests related to multiple service lines for an assigned group of employees. This is a project role that will conclude in 25 - 30 months. A permanent assignment in the post-project support team will be assessed in due course. This role will need to be able to work out of our Cary, NC office. Business proficiency in English and Spanish is required for this role.

Your responsibilities

• Help identify local stakeholders to build program understanding, buy-in and advocacy. Communicate in local language appropriately with stakeholders on all levels. Help equip them with relevant materials and represent the program across different forums. Assist Change Lead with listening platforms to continuously collect feedback and propose ways to address it throughout the program. Repurpose global meeting materials and info packs for various audiences (managers, employees, HRBPs, etc.)
• Work closely with the HRTP Change Lead with local business and functional leaders to ensure full understanding of the change the HR Transformation Program drives and manage its impact on the organization
• Identify the local specific change impacts of the HR Transformation program and build the change approach based on the findings
• In collaboration with relevant communication functions, ensure that program communication is tailored to local needs and released at the right time through relevant channels
• Identify local needs for change and communication initiatives and contents – ensure they are reflected in local change plans and material. This includes translation of material as needed
• Help Change Lead organize and execute local training initiatives for testing, HR, end user training and other program activities. Support localization of training material as needed

Your background

• Bachelor's degree and 3 to 5 years of experience within HR function or Change Management role
• Experience in large transformation programs preferred
• Proven change management capabilities
• Relevant experience and knowledge of organizational change management processes, methodologies and tools; including process, technology and people aspects
• Outstanding stakeholder engagement and expectation management skills
• Proven ability to work effectively with different organizational levels and thorough understanding of how to engage diverse audiences - able to build trustful relationships
• Creativity and readiness for innovation to break new ground
• Excellent communication skills and ability to present and report activities in a clear and effective way, sensitive to communication steps related to all levels of stakeholders
• Professional proficiency in English and Spanish
• Workday experience preferred
• Candidates must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US
