school food service worker, also known as a cafeteria worker or food service assistant, is responsible for preparing and serving food to students in a school cafeteria or other food service facility.

Their duties typically include:

• Preparing and cooking food according to the menu and dietary guidelines
• Serving food to students and staff
• Maintaining a clean and sanitary kitchen and dining area
• Operating and cleaning kitchen equipment such as ovens, stoves, and dishwashers
• Monitoring food inventory and ordering supplies as needed
• Following food safety and sanitation procedures
• Assisting with menu planning and recipe development
• Collecting payments for meals and maintaining accurate records

Pay: $14.00 - $15.00 per hour
