About Us and Our Front Office Medical Receptionist:

We are a busy and welcoming primary care practice located in the Central Los Angeles area. We are currently seeking a skilled Front Office Medical Receptionist who is bilingual in English and Spanish to join our team. Position Summary for our Front Office Medical Receptionist:

  • Schedule: Monday – Friday (8am-5pm Mon, Wed, Fri. and Sat. and be available for extended hours Tues and Thurs. closing at 9pm).
  • Location: Central Los Angeles, CA
  • Starting Pay: $19/hr.
  • Benefits Upon Eligibility Are: Medical and Dental (at no cost to you), Paid Holidays, Personal Days, Vacation, Sick Leave (10 days per year) 403 B Retirement Plan; 2% employer match after one year of employment

A day in the life of our Front Office Medical Receptionist:

  • Greets patients and directs them to appropriate departments
  • Answers multiple phone lines; directs calls and takes messages as needed
  • Verifies patient information and insurance eligibility; collects payments
  • Directs patients to complete forms and processes patient-related paperwork
  • Informs provider’s assistant of no shows and cancellations
  • Makes follow-up appointments for patients and calls patients to confirm appointments
  • Contacts “bumped” patients and reschedules appointments as appropriate
  • Performs various front-office duties in a fast-paced, customer-oriented clinical environment, as assigned

Qualifications/Requirements for our Front Office Medical Receptionist position:

  • High School diploma required
  • 1-2 years of Medical Front Office experience
  • EMR experience
  • Bi-lingual English/Spanish
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and work in a busy environment including heavy telephone duty.
  • Must provide proof of up-to-date COVID-19 vaccinations including recommended doses in the primary series AND booster dose when eligible.
