Position Summary: Patient care coordinator for Audiologist. We are looking for a polite, articulate, confident, team player, reliable and loyal individual.
Patient Care Coordinator for Audiologist provide with administrative support, customer/patient service care, and limited marketing. Patient Care Coordinator for Audiologist must have strong communication skills, the ability to self-start and manage projects. Patient Care coordinator for Audiologist must possess basic understanding of accounting procedures, excellent organizational skills, and be able to manage his/her/them time. Must be Flexible to work between 3 main locations (Pasadena, Rancho Cucamonga, and Glendora when needed)

Essential Functions:
- Answer the telephone. Schedule appointments and register patients using (sycle.net)
- Send and receive hearing devices for new deliveries and repairs.
- Occasionally, Clean hearing aids and basic trouble shooting.
- Collect and record customer payments using (sycle.net)
- Verify patients insurance, if needed (we have an insurance verification specialist)
- Check portal every day to make appointment for those with authorizations (if needed)
- Rarely make coffee or tea for patients if needed.
- Answer basic questions to biller regarding patients/communicates with biller for updates.
- Maintain patient intake forms, Hippa forms, Audiograms etc. and scan all paperwork to our practice management software (sycle.net).
- Call patients for updates.
- Stay in touch with biller, scheduler and authorization department.
- Respond to patient inquires in person and over the phone in a friendly, calm, polite, friendly and patient manner.
- Develop an understanding of the clinic to effectively address patient concerns.
- Communicates patients needs to providers.
- Communicates with providers immediately about any issues that may arise.
- Develop an understanding of insurance benefits to utilize for hearing testing and purchasing of hearing aids.
- Keeps patients inform regarding their insurance benefits.
- Documents all conversations regarding patients in Sycle.
- Contacts hearing aid manufacturers as needed.
- Calls Fed Ex to schedule pick up or gives packages to providers for shipping.
- Keeps in touch with primary care physicians in the area. Fax reports
- checks the e-fax
- works closely with other team members
- Reports to her supervisor as needed.
Other Functions:
- Computer Knowledge is required.
- Excellent Customer Service ability.
- Must exercise Patient Confidentiality
- Ability to type 30 words a minute.
Minimum Job Requirements:
- Education: High School Graduate, Audiology Aid Certificate but not a must, CPR certified.
- Experience: Audiology Clinic and Hearing aid Dispensing clinic.
- Specific Skills: Bilingual (Spanish/Chinese), driver’s license and have reliable transportation.

Salary: $18-$19 but if experienced in Audiology clinic, willing to negotiate.
