Property Damage Adjuster/Case Manager (Spanish speaker)

Job Description

We are a rapidly growing and successful law firm located in Pasadena, CA looking for a full-time, experienced Property Damage Specialist to join our team. This role is scheduled from Monday-Friday 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.

The Property Damage Specialist plays a vital role in assisting clients with their PD claims. This is a fast-paced position that requires excellent communication via phone/email in order to correspond with insurance companies regarding PD claims. This position also requires handling rental cars, auto body referrals, handling repair claims, transportation reimbursements, and processing of total loss – all aspects of PD.

Ideal candidates are local with a High School Diploma or GED equivalent. We prioritize individuals with a minimum 1-2+ year experience in handling property damage. Knowledge of personal injury is a plus. Bilingual, a plus (Spanish preferably). * Case managers and insurance industry professionals are highly encouraged to apply *

Job Responsibilities

· Communicate timely and patiently with clients regarding their PD claims

· Communicate with insurance companies regarding client PD claims

· Set up car rentals and transportation reimbursements for clients

· Process total loss and or repair claims

· Autobody shop referrals

· Review and ensure accuracy of total loss evaluations

· Sort, file, scan, print, fax, and organize documents for individual client files

· Assist staff in locating files and uploading information to shared database

· Work closely and build relationships with clients and team members

· Maintain confidentiality of client information

· Answer any questions, concerns, and requests

Job Requirements/Desired Skills

· Strong negotiation skills

· High School Diploma or GED equivalent (MUST)

· 1-2+ year(s) experience in property damage (MUST)

· Knowledge of personal injury, insurance claims/procedures, “loss of use,” and property damage adjusting

· Strong interpersonal and customer-service qualities

· Excellent communication skills via phone and email with clients and insurance companies

· Understand the injury claims process, with a basic knowledge of insurance, PD, and legal terminology.

· Familiarity with computer software such as Adobe Acrobat, E-sign, Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, Fax

· English proficiency – Spanish proficiency an added benefit

· Detail oriented and organizational skills

· Ability to Work in a fast-paced environment

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $25.00 per hour
