Mercy Drive Regional (MDR) in contract with New Jersey Department of Children and Families provides Respite care services to child/youth with Intellectual/ Developmental disabilities to provide relief for the primary caregiver.
Respite Care Services- Direct Support Professional (DSP) Qualification:
Bilingual Spanish
- Respite care DSP staff provides care and supervision to child/youth in their own home or outside their primary residence. Respite care service will offer families the opportunity for a break from caregiving responsibilities and provides a positive experience for the child/youth receiving care. Respite care DSP staff services allows child/youth’s parents time to engage in activities that they find relaxing, entertaining, or restful while respite care DSP staff cares for child/youth. DSP staff must be responsible for the safety and welfare of the youth served.
- DSP must comply with fingerprint process and attend and participate in all required training.
- Pass Tuberculin Skin (TB) test i.e medical clearance to provide services.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $14.50 - $15.65 per hour
Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
