Surgical Technologist for Vascular Lab - Spanish Bilingual

Responsibilities:
- Assist in preparing the operating room for surgery, including setting up surgical instruments, equipment, and sterile drapes
- Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure a safe and efficient surgical procedure
- Hand instruments and supplies to the surgeon during the procedure
- Maintain aseptic technique throughout the surgical procedure to prevent infections
- Monitor and document patient vital signs during surgery
- Assist with positioning and transferring patients before and after surgery
- Prepare and maintain surgical equipment and supplies for future procedures
- Clean and restock the operating room after each surgery

Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; completion of a Surgical Technician program preferred
- Certification as a Surgical Technician (CST) is a plus
- Knowledge of human anatomy and physiology
- Familiarity with electronic medical record systems, such as Epic, for documentation purposes
- Ability to analyze situations and make quick decisions in a fast-paced environment
- Strong understanding of aseptic technique and infection control protocols
- Experience working in critical care areas, such as the ICU, is highly desirable
- Proficient in handling surgical instruments, including sutures and other specialized tools
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well within a team
