Job Summary:

As a Warehouse Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating the daily operations of a warehouse, ensuring that inventory is properly stored, shipped, and received in a timely and efficient manner. You will also be responsible for managing and supervising a team of warehouse workers.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the daily operations of the warehouse, ensuring that all inventory is properly stored, shipped, and received.
  • Manage and supervise a team of warehouse workers, providing guidance, support, and training as needed.
  • Ensure that all inventory is accurately tracked and recorded in the warehouse management system.
  • Implement and maintain standard operating procedures for warehouse operations, including safety procedures and quality control standards.
  • Collaborate with other departments to coordinate the efficient flow of materials and products.
  • Monitor inventory levels and replenish stock as needed.
  • Manage the shipping and receiving schedules to ensure the timely delivery of products.
  • Identify areas for process improvement and implement changes to increase efficiency and productivity.
  • Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety, health, and environmental regulations.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent is required; some college coursework in logistics or supply chain management is preferred.
  • 3+ years of experience in food warehouse operations.
  • Previous supervisory experience is preferred.
  • Bilingual in English / Mandarin or English / Spanish is required.
  • Ability to work nights and weekends as needed.
  • Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory management, and logistics.
  • Strong knowledge of food safety management.
  • Knowledge of warehouse management systems and other inventory control software.
  • Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage and motivate a team of workers.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and constantly changing environment.
  • Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Physical Requirements:

  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on computer.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times.

Compensation:

The pay range for this job is between $18/Hr. - $23/Hr. This is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary.
