3rd or 4th Grade Bilingual Teacher

Job description

The South Bronx Charter School for International Cultures and the Arts is seeking in-person classroom teachers for the 2023-2024 school year. We have a K-4 dual language program. We also have middle school grades 5-8 and have expanded into the 9th and 10th grades for the 2023-2024 school year.

We are currently seeking a 4th grade classroom teacher for the Spanish component of our dual language program. Teachers must understand balanced literacy, Eureka math, and the workshop model of instruction.

This job is currently on site.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree + and at least three years of elementary teaching experience with measurable results.
• Experience in teaching the content that you are applying for.
• Bi-Lingual Spanish/English is a must
• Strong organizational skills.
• Ability to work as part of a team.
• High expectations for all children.
• Strong orientation toward professional growth and continual improvement.
• Familiar with the workshop model.
• Familiar with Eureka math
• Familiar with Google Classroom

Salary is Commensurate with Experience
