After-School Enrichment Spanish Language Teacher

JOB DESCRIPTION:

STAR Language Academy is looking for fun and energetic Spanish speakers to teach Spanish to elementary-aged children (Kinder – 5th grade).

Job Type: Part-time

Salary: $35.00 per hour

Schedule: After school (M, W, Thurs, Fri - 2:45 to 5:15 - Tues 1:45 to 4:14)

Work Location: Elementary schools in and around Los Angeles

GENERAL REQUIREMENTS:

Experience teaching K-5th grade students
Will commit to the whole session (6-8 week program)
Will have Reliable Transportation
Will have effective classroom management skills
Will be punctual, reliable, enthusiastic, responsible, and flexible
Dedicated to children with diverse backgrounds and academic levels

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

Independently lead a group of 14 students from K-5th grade.
Instructors are expected to arrive on time and provide an educational, FUN, safe, and enjoyable class experience for students.
