Open Minds Early School is in search of a dedicated and fluent Spanish-speaking Lead Teacher to join our team. As a Spanish Head Teacher, you will play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality education and facilitating language immersion experiences for our young learners. Key responsibilities:

Develop and implement a comprehensive curriculum that aligns with the school's philosophy, focusing on Spanish language immersion and the Reggio Emilia approach.

Create an immersive Spanish-speaking environment where children can acquire language skills naturally through play, conversation, and educational activities.

Lead engaging and developmentally appropriate lessons, fostering children's cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development.

Monitor and assess children's progress, providing regular feedback to parents and caregivers on their child's development.

Maintain a safe, organized, and inspiring classroom environment that encourages exploration, creativity, and learning.

Stay current with best practices in early childhood education, attend workshops, and collaborate with colleagues to continually enhance your teaching skills.

Work closely with assistant teachers and other staff to ensure a cohesive and supportive educational experience for children.

Qualifications:

  • Native or near-native fluency in Spanish, both written and spoken.
  • Bachelor’s degree in early childhood education or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
  • Relevant teaching certification and licensure, as required by state regulations.
  • Proven experience as a lead teacher in an early childhood education setting
  • A deep commitment to the principles of the Reggio Emilia approach and bilingual education.
  • Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
  • A passion for fostering a diverse and inclusive learning environment.

Job Types: Contract, Full-time

Pay: $22.00 - $28.00 per hour
