World Language Teacher Middle School Level .80 French/.20 Spanish (Grades 5-8) for 2023-2024. Position will be Probationary for candidates who hold dual certification in French and Spanish.

Start Date: September 1, 2023

Salary and Benefits:

According to the SCTA Contract - at least Schedule I, Step 1 or $54,244.00 depending on experience and transcripts.

General Requirements:

Our ideal candidates should have:

• World Language-French Teacher with appropriate NYS Dual Certification.
• NYS Dual Certification in French and Spanish preferred.
• Teaching experience and familiarity with middle school students.
• Effective communication skills to engage students, parents, colleagues and the school community as a whole. Awareness and experience with relative technology mediums would be ideal.
• Creativity and insight into core curriculum.
