Spanish Interpreter

What Is This Job All About?

• You will provide need-driven, individualized, patient-centered and culturally sensitive interpretation services for Spanish speaking patients.

• Interpreting for clinical visits such as provider office visits, nurse visits, counseling visits, psychiatric provider visits, calling patients, assisting with medical referrals, etc.

What We Need from You:

• High School Diploma or GED required along with 2-3 years' translation experience in a medical facility in a healthcare business office.
• Medical Interpreter/Translation certification required or obtained within 90 days of employment.
• Must be fluent (oral and written) in both Spanish and English with a strong understanding of medical terminology.
• Ability to accurately collect patient information.
• Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills.
• Demonstrated ability to use MS Office - Word, Excel, Outlook.

• Excellent communication both on the phone and in person.
• Provide outstanding customer service to meet the needs of patients.
