Saturday Spanish Teacher

Our school has been a staple of the Flushing community for over 28 years. We are located at JHS 189Q and will run from September 2023 to June 2024. For this year's Saturday Program, we are currently seeking talented candidates for Saturday teaching from 12:30PM - 5PM.

Description:

• Spanish teacher

Requirements:

• have leadership skills to direct a group of 5-20 students with effective classroom management
• can create engaging lessons, both on paper and through slides/video
• be able to interact with students and families in a productive, courteous, and empathetic manner
• be available Saturday afternoons

Opportunities in our After School and Summer programs are also available for well-qualified candidates.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $20.00 - $35.00 per hour

Schedule:

• Weekends as needed

Face coverings will be required in building. Background checks and vaccination required for staff.
