Spanish Teacher

Hartford Memorial Middle School is a grade 6-8 school of approximately 300 students dedicated to the development of the whole child. We are an inclusive, energetic, and creative community that is dedicated to academic and personal growth. As a learning community we are committed to, and enthusiastic about, empowering middle school learners to play an active role in their education and their school. HMMS seeks teachers who thoroughly enjoy and are committed to middle level learners and prioritize relationships with students, families, and staff.

The successful applicant will be creative, open-minded, and excited about the unique opportunities that our middle school offers.This position is for a 6-8th grade Spanish teacher. The successful applicant will: -Demonstrate knowledge of best practices in world language curriculum, instruction, and assessment;-Demonstrates strong understanding of middle level learners and the nature and needs of young adolescents;-Demonstrates understanding of proficiency based learning.-Hold a Spanish endorsement or eligibility for Spanish endorsement
